KS1/2 School Mascot in Space

We inspire KS1 and 2 students to think about space by helping them take their school mascot towards space. In partnership with the school, we will help them prepare for the flight. We will obtain CAA permission for the flight, help select a launch site, build the payload carrying cameras and GPS trackers, and mount the mascot. We can also help teachers complete Health and Safety assessments for the project.

On launch day, we will help the children to inflate the balloon, operate tracking equipment, launch the weather balloon and, most importantly, recover the mascot and film footage.

Duration : full day depending on the schools participation in payload recovery.

Cost: £320
